We’re excited to invite you to the first joint Actor-Based Change Workshop, led by two of the framework’s creators, Andrew Koleros and Mark Oldenbeuving.

What This Is

We're Andrew Koleros and Mark Oldenbeuving, two of the creators of the Actor-Based Change Framework. We've been applying and refining the approach for years across sectors and geographies, and now we're coming together in Boston to share what we've learned.

This is the first time we’re running a joint, in-person workshop together. We’re treating it as a collaborative learning lab: we’ll share the tools, lessons, and insights we’ve built over years of practice and we’ll invite you to test them against your own challenges.

You’ll leave with practical templates, tested strategies, and fresh perspectives on how to design, monitor, and evaluate change in complex systems. Plus you'll have a peer network of fellow practitioners grappling with the same questions.


Who It’s For

We designed this workshop for experienced practitioners and evaluators who:

  • Work with complex social challenges

  • Are curious about systems approaches but want practical tools

  • Have tried traditional frameworks and found them limiting

  • Want to contribute to evolving these approaches

We assume you already bring some program or evaluation experience. This isn’t an introduction to development or MEL basics, it’s for people who are ready to deepen their toolkit and contribute to evolving the field.
