How Change Cascades Through the System

1. Youth Development Pathway

The Foundation uses the power of the football club to engage young people through Premier League Kicks, Girls Talent Pathway, and youth programmes. This builds their confidence and skills.

Schools provide referrals and venues. Engaged young people develop leadership capabilities, reduce antisocial behaviour, and become positive role models in their communities.

2. Health & Wellbeing Pathway

NHS and council partners refer adults and older people to programmes like Walking Football, Extra Time Hub, and Boro Bygones (dementia support).

Participants gain physical activity, social connection, and mental wellbeing. Reduced isolation leads to better health outcomes and lower demand on public services.

3. Education to Employment Pathway

The Foundation delivers apprenticeships and foundation degrees at The Lamex Stadium. Young people gain qualifications in sports coaching, football development, and sports business.

This creates a pipeline of skilled workers for the sports and community sector, with many graduates returning to work for the Foundation itself.

4. Community Cohesion Pathway

Matchday activities, Community Kitchen, and family programmes bring diverse community members together around shared experiences.

This builds social capital and local pride, strengthening community bonds and creating a sense of belonging connected to Stevenage FC.
